About

I am currently in my first year at the University of Toronto studying Engineering Science. Most of my current design experiences occur through an engineering design course known as Praxis. However, I started designing long before that.

I had the opportunity to learn design from practicing professionals: my parents. With a computer scientist as a mother and an electrical engineer for a father, there was no way that I would be able to avoid the requirements, project scoping, and design documents that flooded my childhood. Thus, I was given quite an early exposure to practical design.
However, just seeing it done by others is not sufficient to form a fully-fledged design process. In high school, I would begin to see some of the same terms emerge again.

I would begin learning design formally in courses that require the use of design – computer science, woodworking, and electronics among them. This would education has continued since then to the courses I am enrolled in today.

Take a look at some artifacts from my design process.
