Request for Proposals

A request for proposals was issued with the aim of improving the lived experience of air traffic controllers at Pearson International Airport.

The process of writing the RFP included researching and contacting relevant stakeholders, understanding the community, and gathering statistics.

This information was combined to generate requirements for an improved system that would satisfy all stakeholders.

The requirements were also supplmented with a  reference designs section that investigated solutions in similar industries. An important part of the reference designs is to show what can be learned, not why the reference designs fail to solve the problem.

The first draft of the document was reviewed by the Teaching Team, and ammendments were made where necessary.
